In 2023, Ben led the creative team that rolled out a new brand expression across all customer touch points. He directed creative work with the internal teams as well as several external agency partners.

In Walgreens retail stores new design systems were created for packaging of the Walgreens branded products, new displays and signage systems. His team created a new omni-channel approach for brand and seasonal campaigns. Digital experiences were updated in collaboration with the UX/UI design teams. Ben’s team also led the brand strategy and architecture work to rebrand Alliance Rx to Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy along with other services.

Walgreens Private Label Packaging

A key business strategy of Walgreens is to increase the amount of Walgreens brand products in health and wellness, beauty and personal care and a new line focused on Women’s Wellness. This required new packaging designs and design systems that Ben led to elevate Walgreens brand and customer experience.

Walgreens Disability Pride Month Series

Ben’s team created a series for disability pride month in 2024. This series tells the stories of internal team members at Walgreens to showcase how Walgreens has been dedicated to actively recruiting and hiring people in the disability community. The series was a 2024 Shorty Impact Award winner for retail and e-commerce.
